I believe in life. I believe in passion. I believe in happiness.
As human beings we are able to create. We can create tactile formations, like novels and cakes. But more importantly, we can create meaning. We can create experiences, relationships, futures, families, life, and purpose. We can create happiness.
The details in what I aspire to become probably aren’t the same as yours, but the end result is ultimately the same: happiness. Just like you, I want to find a way to make myself happy. I want to find a way to make as many people happy as I possibly can.
Many people look toward deities and gods to supply them with happiness, some look toward success and money, others find it within themselves, and countless more have developed their own methods to find what they’re looking for. I don’t believe that any of these methods are wrong… Until these approaches effect opposing factions negatively.
I believe in liberation. I believe that every person in the world is entitled to the same basic rights. I believe in equality. When any sort of group tries to take away from a person’s justices, I do not believe they are working for a higher purpose.
I believe that we have the opportunity to put our lives together. More significantly, I believe that when something terrible happens, we are given the opportunity to put our lives BACK together. In your life, you will come to some point in suffering. Whether it’s the dissolution of an interpersonal relationship, the dismembering of physical property, or any number of other misfortunes. No one’s tragedy is more significant than your own, despite whether or not someone has suffered more than you. I believe that everyone can come back from his or her calamities. It’s a matter of motivation, hard work, passion, and time.
I often arrive at points in my life where I do not know what to believe and I do not know how to act. During the past three to four years, my ideas and philosophies have completely changed. Change is sometimes looks upon as a negative thing, but I don’t feel that way anymore. I can determine what I believe. I can adapt to my internal struggles. I am only a kid.
